WILLIAMSBURG-Work Nimbly, Williamsburg’s creative co-working space, is for sale.
Co-owners Gretchen Bedell and Jenn Haynes are looking for a new buyer for the business after an initial sale fell through due in part to the pandemic.
The pair first put Work Nimbly up for sale a few months ago. Bedell and Haynes are pursuing another unspecified project.
Work Nimbly first opened seven years ago in James City County as a way for independent workers to share an office space.
“Work Nimbly is a profitable business, and even more so as companies are shifting to more remote work,” Bedell and Haynes wrote in a joint statement about the sale. “This gig is the perfect fit for someone who needs to have a physical office but doesn’t want to work alone or has a staff member who needs to be present all day. Or for someone who’s looking to make a change and wants to run a business.”
Work Nimbly relocated to Williamsburg on Penniman Road a few years ago and will continue to utilize the space after the sale.
“Greater Williamsburg needs co-working and a space for small businesses and entrepreneurs to work and grow their companies,” the statement concluded.
