Sentara Healthcare Rewards Employees For Work During the Pandemic

Sentara Healthcare is showing its gratitude for its employees who have been working throughout the covid-19 pandemic. Sentara will give employees a gift of appreciation of up to $1,500.

“I want to offer my sincere thanks and recognition for your extraordinary response toward helping our patients, our community, and one another during this difficult time,” Sentara President & CEO Howard P. Kern said in a message to his employees.

Clinical caregivers and support staff who worked directly with patients at Sentara’s hospitals and outpatient settings will be rewarded $1,500.  All other eligible support staff will receive $750. Those eligible include doctors and team members up to and including the director level who have worked for Sentara Healthcare for the past six months.
