Virginia Peninsula Chamber of Commerce Hosts Women’s Leadership Forums

NEWPORT NEWS-Virginia Peninsula Chamber of Commerce will host two virtual Women’s Leadership forums this year.

Laurie Flowers, Human Resources Director for Kaufman & Canoles, Bettina Lee, Wellness Coordinator for the Newport News Department of Human Resources, and Dr. Keisha Pexton, Director of Learning & Workforce Development for Newport News Shipbuilding, will speak at the first forum scheduled for April 8.

The second Women’s Leadership forum is slated for July 8. Dr. Porter Brannon, President of Thomas Nelson Community College, Veronica Hurd, Director of the Academies of Hampton, Hampton City Schools, and Latitia McCane, Director of Education for The Apprentice School, will be among the speakers.

In addition, Barbara Hamm Lee, owner of Sharing Info LLC, will be the keynote speaker for a virtual Peninsula Executive Leadership Forum on May 4.
