JAMES CITY-The McDonald’s Garden Center seasonal market on News Road is now open for the 2021 season.

McDonald’s Garden Center offers a variety of plants, flowers, herbs, vegetables, and other garden supplies for both in and outside the home.

The garden center’s flagship store in Virginia Beach opened in 1945. The store has two year-round locations, both in Virginia Beach, as well as nine seasonal markets both on the Southside and Peninsula. In addition to the News Road location in James City County, seasonal markets are located on Jamestown Road as well as on Denbigh Boulevard in Yorktown and in Poquoson.

Seasonal markets typically remain open until mid-summer.
